Friends recommended Kaiser's for dinner for get together on Saturday. We were highly impressed. We ordered a few drinks at the bar and service was great. At dinner we ordered appetizers- short rib dumplings (wow!), and beef carpaccio, ( also amazing). For dinner it was hard to pick one but went with the filet which was one of the best I've had and has made Kaiser's my new favorite. Can't forget the sides- corn and Mac and cheese which was also yummy. Can't wait to go back.

Environment: This steakhouse is somewhat unassuming from the outside and is located in a strip mall/shopping center. The interior is dimly lit and intimate with various tables and booths.
Food/Drink: Ordered the Grilled Thick Cut Bacon, Tomahawk Steak, Granny's Grilled Corn, and Big Elbow Mac and Cheese for the meal; a French 75 to drink; and the Warm Chocolate Chip Skillet for dessert. The Grilled Thick Cut Bacon was some of the best bacon I've ever had in my life! It was flavorful and meaty with very little fat. The Tomahawk Steak was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the Creamed Corn and Mac and Cheese were delicious. My cocktail was good and the Warm Chocolate Chip Skillet was decent. I wasn't too crazy about it, but I could see how a lover of cookies would think it was amazing.
Service: The waiter was friendly, but forgetful at times. Possibly because he had too many tables to tend to at once.
Overall, not a bad experience so I would return. -

Located in a strip mall, but a good atmosphere on the inside. The steak was cooked to order (medium rare plus) and tasty--but nothing different than any other top notch steakhouse. We enjoyed the truffle potatoes and creamed spinach. The bread was not to my liking, but I guess that helped me not eat too much. Wine selection was fine but certainly not great. Very few moderate wine choices. Many steakhouses at least throw a bone to folks looking for something decent for under $50. Here you had to get to the $75 range. That was disappointing. Cookie and ice cream was good but nothing different than what you can make at home. Overall, we had a good meal, but I certainly wouldn't have to go back.

is it bad that I felt uncomfortable with the lack of diversity in the restaurant? We were seriously the only non Caucasian couple in the entire place. The food was decent, but all I can remember is how I felt being stared at waiting for husband to park. Also, parking is a nightmare because this for the dinner rush, the restaurant block spaces for their valet service and takes away from South Park. You have to park far away or risk getting towed. Do not park at Lowe's!

Great ambience and even better food! The Toffee Pudding for dessert was the perfect finale. Highly recommend Kaiser's.
